Since its inception, the label has launched a selection of Zero 7 singles and EPs featuring José González, Only Girl, Jem Cooke, Lou Stone and amongst others. Recently, they have collaborated with long-term partner Swim Surreal, co-writing, producing, and releasing the album 'In The Half Light.'

Make records was started in 2013 by Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns after 12 years releasing music on Atlantic Records. Seeking creative freedom, they set up Make Records as an outlet for Zero 7 and other projects they are involved in. 2024 saw the first album release on the label, ‘In The Half Light’ by Swim Surreal.
